SCHOOL NUTRITION PROGRAMME
Ardenne Students Receiving a Cheque for Nutrition Programme
Ardenne is attended by hundreds of students drawn from all strata of the Jamaican society, scores of whom have to rely on the Government of Jamaica’s Programme of Advancement through Health and Education (PATH) initiative to supplement meal programmes in schools for needy students. Invariably, PATH funding is insufficient to meet the J$15 million required for Ardenne’s Nutrition Programmes to provide nutritious meals to students for the 190-day academic year.
In the face of this, the Ardenne Alumni Foundation is committed to “ensuring that no student goes hungry while at school”.
